UNIT DESCRIPTION

This Modern facility of ALIAGAS SA is located in Volos Region, specifically in B 'Industrial Area of ​​Volos, in the Municipality of Feron - Magnesia, just 340 Km from Athens, 200 km from Thessaloniki and 12 Km from the port of Volos.

In this new production and storage facility, our company has invested in modern technology for quality assurance of Bitumen and emulsion products. The facilities are located on private land in a total area of ​​10.ooo sq.m and include:

  1. Bitumen Storage Unit 
  2. Bitumen emulsion Plant 
  3. Quality Control Laboratory 
  4. Management offices

Our Products

This production unit, today mainly produces three different products. The KE-1 cationic emulsion, the KE-5 cationic emulsion and the cationic emulsion KE-1S. At the same time there is the possibility of producing all types of emulsions which are described in the standard technical specifications applicable in Greece (MSF A-203) based on customer needs.

Plant Capacity

The maximum capacity of the unit is 40 tonnes of emulsion per eight hours, and there are installed two storage tanks (PR-1 & PR-2), of 25 tonnes each. The pump allows the fast loading of emulsions (20 tons per hour), with maximum safety in any type of vehicle or container.
